Description
The TRAINER Double Leg Press is an outdoor lower-body station that takes two users at once on a single 70 kg frame, 2,130 mm long. It is part of the OutdoorStart range, certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland, and priced at 2,364 EUR excluding VAT.
Two users, one footprint
Two seats face outwards from the same central column, so two people press simultaneously without interfering with each other. On municipal circuits that matters for throughput: the leg press is usually the station with the longest queue, and doubling capacity for one anchoring point and one safety area is cheaper than installing two separate machines. It also makes the station work for pairs and for supervised groups, where users train together rather than waiting.
Movement and muscles worked
The user sits, places both feet on the platform and extends the legs against body-weight resistance. The exercise loads the quadriceps and the glutes, with the lower abdominals working to stabilise the pelvis. Difficulty is rated medium. There is no weight stack and no pin: load depends on seat position, range and tempo, which is what makes the station usable on an unsupervised site.

Where it is specified
Urban parks, municipal outdoor gyms and health trails, particularly where the brief asks for group or family training. EN 16630:2015-06 is the European standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment and is the reference cited in most public tenders for this category. The 513 x 356 cm safety area must stay clear of paths, benches and planting.

Frequently asked questions
Can two users of different sizes train at the same time?
Yes. Each seat is independent and resistance comes from each user own body weight, so a 55 kg and a 95 kg user work at their own load with no adjustment.
What surfacing is required underneath?
Surfacing is determined by the free height of fall for the station, within the 513 x 356 cm safety area. We specify it with the layout so that the surfacing and the equipment are quoted together.
How is it fixed to the ground?
The frame is anchored into concrete foundations. Foundation drawings are supplied with the order so that groundworks can be completed before the delivery date.
Light In Fitness designs and supplies outdoor fitness areas for local authorities, campsites, hotels and property developers. Send your site plan and we will return a quotation covering equipment, surfacing and installation.
