Description

This stainless steel deadlift station is an outdoor plate loaded machine that reproduces the deadlift movement with Olympic discs on a guided, stable frame. It works the hamstrings, glutes, quadriceps, lower back and trapezius, and is specified for outdoor strength parks, public sports areas and outdoor fitness clubs.

The deadlift is the heaviest movement most users will ever perform, which makes the frame specification the whole point of the machine. Guiding the bar path and supporting the plates on a rigid stainless structure keeps the load stable at high intensity and removes the lateral movement that causes technique breakdown when a free bar is used on uneven outdoor ground. Loading with Olympic discs means the same station serves a beginner learning the hip hinge and an athlete pulling near maximum, with no stack limit and no mechanism to seize outdoors.

The structure is stainless steel, 316L grade in this range, so it withstands rain, snow, humidity and UV without rusting and without any coating to renew. That matters for a deadlift station in particular, since the plate contact points on a painted machine are the first areas to chip and the first to corrode.

Planning a heavy lifting station outdoors

A deadlift station changes the ground requirement compared with a body weight rig. Plates are dropped, so the base under the loading area has to take repeated impact: a concrete foundation with an impact absorbing surface over it, rather than grass or loose fill, is the practical specification. Plate storage should sit within arm’s reach of the station, otherwise discs end up on the ground where they become a trip hazard and an inspection finding. In free access installations the station falls under EN 16630, requiring a clear peripheral safety zone and EN 1177 surfacing sized against the free height of fall. Because the movement is technically demanding, many local authorities pair the station with signage or a QR coded instruction plate. Our team supplies the implantation study, the anchorage drawing and the surfacing calculation.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of the station?

Overall dimensions, the ground footprint and the safety zone are supplied with the implantation study prepared for your site.

Which plates should we order?

Olympic discs are quoted separately. We advise on a plate set that matches the expected user profile, along with outdoor plate storage.

Is it suitable for unsupervised public use?

Yes. The guided frame and the absence of enclosed mechanisms make it suitable for free access sites, subject to the EN 16630 layout and EN 1177 surfacing.
