Description
The C12 stainless steel station is an open street workout and calisthenics cage measuring 800 by 600 by 310 cm, occupying 48 m2 and accommodating 32 users at once, 20 on the frame and 12 around it. Unlike a linear trail, it is accessible from all four sides, so a whole group trains simultaneously with each participant at a different station under one instructor. It carries 12 main stations, 12 additional stations and more than 30 stainless accessories as standard. Built entirely in marine grade 316 and 316L stainless steel and certified EN 16630:2015-06E with an EU declaration of conformity, it is the reference for seafront and saline environments. It is priced at 24 999 EUR excluding VAT, structure only, delivery included.

Safety area, surfacing and anchoring
Plan the plot from the safety area rather than from the frame. The structure occupies 48 m2 but the minimum safety area is 900 by 900 cm, 81 m2, and the ideal working area is 100 m2, which gives room for the 12 users positioned around the frame as well as the 20 on it. That surrounding space is not a comfort margin, it is what makes the four sided access usable by a full class.
With a maximum critical fall height of 3.10 m, the fall zone requires EN 1177 surfacing rated to an HIC of at least 3 m. This is the single largest budget item after the structure and it is quoted separately, alongside the foundations and installation. Anchoring follows the plan supplied with the order.
Material choice is what sets this station apart from a galvanised cage. Marine grade 316 and 316L stainless resists saline corrosion, so the station can be installed on a seafront promenade, at a coastal campsite or beside a pool without a maintenance schedule. The finish is polished stainless with no lacquer, and the IHS columns carry no visible fixing holes, which removes the water traps that shorten the life of a conventional bolted rig. Estimated service life is more than 20 years with no upkeep.
Frequently asked questions
How does the C12 differ from a linear street workout trail?
Access. A linear trail sends users along a route one after another, whereas the C12 is open on all four sides with 24 stations arranged around a compact, almost square frame. That is what allows 32 people to train at once, each on a different station, with a single instructor supervising the rotation.
Is it genuinely suitable for a seafront site?
Yes. The whole structure is marine grade 316 and 316L stainless, the grade specified for saline exposure, and the finish carries no coating that could fail. That is the reason it is priced above a galvanised equivalent and why it needs no maintenance over a service life of more than 20 years.
What does 24 999 EUR cover?
The structure with its 24 stations and more than 30 stainless accessories, with delivery included. Foundations, EN 1177 surfacing and installation are quoted with the project. Lead time is 30 to 90 days.
