Description

The Lexco LPS-118 is a seated adductor machine with a 75 kg stack and a knee restraint adjustable over eight steps. Eight settings cover the range of hip width and mobility found across a general membership, which is the practical reason members keep using the station instead of abandoning it after one session.

Hip adduction is a short range movement and the start position decides how much of it is usable. Set the pads too wide for a member with tight adductors and the first repetition is uncomfortable; set them too narrow for a mobile user and half the range is wasted. The eight step restraint puts that decision in the user’s hands before the set begins, without tools and without leaving the seat.

The pads are ergonomically curved urethane memory foam, so the load spreads along the inner thigh rather than concentrating on one line. The frame carries a double sided ABS stack cover, and at 260 kg total the machine sits still under load. In plan it measures 795 by 1685 mm, narrow enough to line up alongside the matching abductor station.

Building a hip and glute area

The adductor is rarely bought alone. Paired with the matching abductor it forms a recognisable hip zone, and the two stations are almost always used in the same session, so placing them side by side reduces walking and makes the area read clearly from across the floor.

Each station is under 800 mm wide, which is what allows the pair to occupy the space a single leg press would need. Allow clear access on the stack loading flank and space in front of each seat. A siting plan with clearances is issued with the quotation once we have your room drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the stack 75 kg rather than 100 kg?

The adductor group works through a short range and a smaller stack gives more useful increments across the loads members actually select. A larger stack would add height and cost without adding usable resolution.

Is the machine used in rehabilitation?

It is common in that setting because the range is set before the first repetition and the load starts at one plate. Groin and adductor programmes use it under supervision; confirm the protocol with the practitioner responsible.

Does it need bolting down?

No. At 260 kg the station is stable in normal use. Check the floor build up if it is going onto a raised or floating platform, and tell us the finish so the siting plan reflects it.
