Description
The Lexco LPS-117 is a commercial leg press built on a double rail, with a rear inclined rail that allows a genuine squat posture. That geometry is the reason to specify it over a single rail machine: the user drives through a path closer to a loaded squat, so the exercise transfers better and the lower back stays supported throughout the range.
Two adjustments do the work. The backrest sets on 7 positions and the footplate on a further 7, which between them accommodate different leg lengths and let the same machine be used for a deep, quadriceps dominant press or a shallower, higher foot position that loads the posterior chain. For a commercial floor that matters because one machine then serves a rehabilitation client and a strength athlete without changing anything mechanical.
The machine measures 1075 x 1890 x 1952 mm, so it is compact for a leg press and fits into a standard machine line rather than requiring a dedicated bay. The seat uses ergonomic urethane memory foam and the weight stack shrouds are double sided ABS, which resists knocks and wipes down easily under heavy daily use.

Placing a leg press on a commercial floor
A leg press is one of the few machines that dictates its own position. Users need clear space behind the seat for entry and exit, and the machine should not face directly into a walkway because the loaded position leaves the user unable to see approaching traffic. Placing it against a wall with the footplate outward is the usual solution.
Floor loading also deserves a check. A selectorised leg press concentrates several hundred kilograms over a small area, so on suspended floors the point loads should be verified before delivery. We supply the machine weight and footprint with the implantation study for that purpose. Rubber gym flooring tiles are recommended under the frame to protect the slab and to limit noise transfer to rooms below.
Frequently asked questions
What is the weight stack?
The stack weight and the total machine weight are confirmed with the quotation, since specification can vary by production batch.
Does the inclined rear rail change the exercise?
Yes. It allows a squat posture rather than a purely horizontal press, which produces a movement pattern closer to a free weight squat.
Is installation included?
Installation can be quoted with the machine. Dispatch from stock is typically 5 to 10 working days, with delivery to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
