Description
The Lexco LPS-116 is a seated leg curl that isolates the hamstrings with the trunk supported, which is what distinguishes it from a prone or standing curl. Seated hamstring work keeps the hip flexed throughout the movement, so the knee flexors are loaded through a range that a lying curl reaches only partially, and the user’s lower back stays supported rather than arched.
The machine adjusts on four axes. A push button pivot with 8 positions sets the rotation axis to the user’s knee, the ankle position is adjustable, and a knee fixer with 5 positions holds the thigh in place so that the hips do not rise during the set. A rack type backrest with 11 positions and a gas spring damper complete the setup, so the machine can be reset for the next member in seconds.
As with the rest of the LPS series, a training unit for low intensity exercise and a zero point block allow controlled loading below the first stack increment, which is why these machines are specified for clinical as well as commercial settings. The seat is ergonomic urethane memory foam and the stack shrouds are double sided ABS.

Balancing a lower body machine line
Hamstring machines are the most frequently omitted item when a gym is equipped on a tight budget, and the imbalance shows up later in injury rates among running and field sport members. Specifying a seated leg curl alongside a leg extension and a leg press gives a complete lower body line on three machines, which is the minimum that a serious club floor needs.
The footprint is 1102 x 1581 mm, so the machine sits comfortably in a standard machine row. Rubber gym flooring tiles under the frame protect the slab and reduce noise, and on suspended floors the 244 kg total should be checked against the permitted point loading. Dispatch from stock is 5 to 10 working days, with delivery to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg and export quoted per project.
Frequently asked questions
Why choose a seated rather than a lying leg curl?
The seated position keeps the hip flexed through the movement and supports the trunk, which loads the hamstrings through a longer range and reduces lumbar strain.
Is the machine suitable for rehabilitation protocols?
The zero point block and low intensity training unit allow loading below the first stack plate, which is the feature clinical users normally require.
Can it be delivered and installed together with other LPS machines?
Yes. Machines from the series are normally delivered together and installation can be quoted for the whole line.
