Description
The Lexco LPS-102 is a lat pulldown with a thigh pad adjustable over seven positions and a frame standing 2259 mm tall. The thigh pad is what makes the exercise work: without it the user lifts off the seat instead of pulling the bar down.
A pulldown loads the latissimus dorsi through shoulder adduction, and the reaction force pushes the body upwards. Seven pad settings mean the restraint is set snugly against the thigh for a broad range of leg lengths, so a lighter member can still use a load that would otherwise lift them off the seat. That single adjustment is the difference between a station everyone can use and one that suits only heavier users.
The seat is urethane memory foam, contoured rather than flat, and the pulley train runs behind an ABS shroud on both faces of the stack. The machine weighs 221 kg in total and measures 846 mm across, so it lines up in a row of stations rather than needing an island position. Height is the constraint to check: at 2259 mm it is one of the taller machines in a strength area.

Siting a pulldown station
Height is the first thing to verify. The frame stands 2259 mm tall and the bar hangs above the user, so check the clear height under any beam, duct, sprinkler head or light fitting on the intended line. Rooms in converted buildings are where this catches people out.
In plan the station is narrow, which suits a row of back and pull stations along a wall. Allow space behind the seat for the user to sit down under the bar, and keep the stack loading flank clear. A siting study with clearances and the full loaded weight is issued with the quotation once we have your room drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the thigh pad need seven positions?
Because thigh depth and seated height differ widely between users. A pad set too high leaves a gap and the member lifts off the seat; set too low it is uncomfortable and the load is limited by the restraint rather than by the back.
What ceiling height does the station need?
The machine itself is 2259 mm tall. Allow clearance above that for the bar and for maintenance access to the top pulley, and check for services on the ceiling line before fixing the position.
Is a pulldown a substitute for pull ups?
It is the accessible version of the same movement pattern, with the load selected rather than fixed at body weight. Clubs typically offer both, since members progress from one to the other.
