Description
The Lexco LPS-104 is a selectorised shoulder press whose defining feature is a dual position handle. One handle set gives two grip orientations, so the same machine covers a neutral grip press and a pronated press without any mechanical change. In practice that means shoulders, arms and upper back can all be worked on one station, which is useful on floors where machine count is limited.
The machine measures 1469 x 1522 x 1368 mm and weighs 245.5 kg, of which the weight stack accounts for 100 kg. That mass matters on an overhead press, because the frame has to stay planted while the user drives vertically against the stack. A training unit for low intensity exercise allows gentle loading, which extends the machine’s usefulness to older members and to shoulder rehabilitation work.
Setup is quick. A rack type saddle adjustment with 10 positions and a gas spring damper set the seat height, so the handle path aligns with the shoulder joint rather than forcing the user to compensate. The seat is ergonomic urethane memory foam and the weight stack is enclosed by a double sided ABS cover, which is the finish that survives a busy commercial floor.

Positioning a shoulder press on a club floor
Overhead machines need headroom, and it is the item most often overlooked when a gym is fitted into a converted retail unit or a hotel basement. Check the ceiling height above the seat position rather than the machine height alone, since the handles travel above the frame.
In a machine line the shoulder press normally sits beside the chest press and the lat pull down, so that the pressing and pulling patterns for the upper body are grouped. Rubber gym flooring tiles are recommended under the frame both to protect the slab and to keep the 245.5 kg machine from marking the floor when it is repositioned. Dispatch from stock is 5 to 10 working days, with delivery to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg and export quoted per project.
Frequently asked questions
What does the dual position handle change?
It offers two grip orientations on the same machine, which varies the emphasis between the anterior and medial deltoid and adds arm and upper back involvement.
Can beginners use the machine safely?
Yes. The fixed path, the 10 position seat adjustment and the low intensity training unit make it suitable from the first session.
What ceiling height should be allowed?
Above the 1368 mm machine height, allow for the handle travel and for the user’s seated position. We confirm the required clearance with the implantation study.
