Description
The Lexco LPS-119 is a selectorised hip machine of 995 x 1798 x 1806 mm and 275 kg, with an eleven step footrest adjustment and a twenty nine step adjustment of the training unit. That second figure is what distinguishes the machine: the working arc can be positioned in fine increments, so the exercise is set to the hip range of the user rather than the user adapting to the machine.
Hip work has become a standard part of programmes for athletic preparation and for general conditioning, and a dedicated station allows loaded hip extension and abduction to be trained without the improvised set ups seen on cable stations. The heavy frame at 275 kg gives the stability the movement requires when the user pushes against the pad.
Comfort components follow the LPS specification: urethane memory foam that takes the shape of the body, and a double sided ABS stack cover that protects the weights and the guides. Those covers also reduce the noise of the stack, which matters in a studio or a hotel gym adjacent to other rooms.

Fine adjustment and mixed public floors
Twenty nine positions on the training unit and eleven on the footrest sound excessive until a floor is used by members of very different heights. On hip movements a badly positioned axis moves the work away from the target muscle, which is the usual reason a hip station is avoided by members after a first attempt.
Plan 995 x 1798 mm of floor plus circulation on the entry side. At 275 kg the machine is set once, so confirm the load path from the delivery door to the final position before the delivery date.
Frequently asked questions
Why so many adjustment positions?
To align the axis of the machine with the hip of each user. Precise alignment is what makes the load reach the intended muscle group.
Is the stack enclosed?
Yes, by a double sided ABS cover that protects the weights and reduces noise.
Can this machine be quoted with a complete Lexco floor?
Yes. We quote complete strength floors and maintenance across the Lexco ranges. Send your plan with the quotation request.
