Description
The Gold Line unilateral leg extension is a plate loaded quadriceps station measuring 131 x 127 x 117 cm and weighing 130 kg, for users up to 180 kg. Price: 1,425 EUR excluding VAT.
The lowest station on the floor
At 117 cm high this is the lowest machine in the Gold Line range. That matters more than it sounds. A gym floor made entirely of tall machines feels like a corridor system; keeping the leg area low preserves the sight lines a member of staff needs to supervise a room, and it lets the machine sit under a mezzanine, a duct run or a sloping ceiling where nothing else fits.
Independent quadriceps loading
Each leg is loaded on its own Olympic sleeve, so the two sides are trained separately. The quadriceps is the muscle group most affected by a knee injury, by surgery and simply by favouring one leg over years, and the deficit is invisible on a bilateral machine because the good leg compensates.
Working one side at a time makes the difference measurable in kilogrammes, which is exactly what a return to training programme needs, and it lets the weaker leg receive a genuinely equal training dose rather than a shared one.

Frequently asked questions
Should it be bought with the unilateral leg curl?
It is the usual pairing. Extension and curl together balance the front and the back of the thigh, and both Gold Line stations are priced at 1,425 EUR excluding VAT, so the two can be quoted as a single lower body block.
Does it fit under a low ceiling?
Yes. At 117 cm the machine is well under head height, so it can be installed in basements, under mezzanines and in converted spaces where a tall station would not go.
How much clearance is needed around it?
The frame occupies 131 x 127 cm. Allow access on both sides for loading and unloading discs and a walkway behind the seat, which in practice means around 2.2 x 2 m per position.
