Description
The Gold Line leg press and calf raise is the heaviest station in the plate loaded range: 220 kg of machine on a 176 x 144.5 cm footprint, 162 cm tall, for users up to 180 kg. Price: 1,535 EUR excluding VAT.
Two exercises on one frame
The station covers the leg press and the standing calf raise on the same platform. In a commercial gym that is a direct space saving: calf work is rarely important enough to justify a dedicated station, but it is too often skipped when there is nowhere to do it. Combining the two means the calf gets trained at the end of the leg press set, on the same setup, without a queue forming somewhere else on the floor.
The two independent disc supports are 50 mm Olympic and let the load be built symmetrically on either side of the sled.
Why 220 kg of frame
A leg press applies the highest absolute loads of any machine on a gym floor, and it applies them along a sled that wants to lift the frame at the top of the movement. The Gold Line answer is mass and section: the raw material is hot rolled SPHC oval steel tube in a 150 x 50 x 3 mm section, heavier than the 120 x 50 x 3 mm used across the rest of the range, laser cut and robot welded. The 220 kg self weight is what keeps the unit planted without floor anchoring.

- Extra strong TPR-EVA grip zones
- Double cylinder reinforced pads, 2 mm leather over high density polyurethane foam

Frequently asked questions
How many discs will the station need?
More than any other machine on the floor. A commercial leg press regularly carries 200 kg or more in plates, so budget accordingly and add storage horns so the discs live at the machine rather than travelling around the room. Discs are quoted separately from the 1,535 EUR excluding VAT machine price.
Does it need to be bolted down?
Not on a standard concrete or screed floor: 220 kg of frame and the non slip rubber supports are enough. On a raised, floating or heavily cushioned floor, send us the floor build up and we will advise.
Can it be delivered into a first floor gym?
Yes, but the 220 kg has to be planned for. Tell us the access route, lift dimensions and any staircase when you request a quotation and we will confirm whether the machine can be delivered assembled or has to be built on site.
For a full free weight area, send us the room plan and the stations you want and we will return a written quotation covering delivery in France, installation and after sales support. See the complete plate loaded machines range.
