Gold Line Plate Loaded Chest Press

The Gold Line chest press is a plate loaded pressing station built for commercial gym floors. It occupies 185 x 155 cm, stands 181.5 cm high, weighs 150 kg and accepts users up to 180 kg. Price: 1,575 EUR excluding VAT.

Converging press path with independent arms

Each arm is loaded separately on its own Olympic sleeve, so the two sides of the body work independently and a strength imbalance stays visible instead of being masked by a shared bar. The path converges towards the mid line of the chest, which reproduces the natural adduction of the pectoral muscles at lockout rather than forcing a purely linear push.

Because resistance comes from discs rather than a selectorised stack, the load curve follows the plate mass exactly and the station can be micro loaded with fractional plates for progressive programming.

Frame, welding and finish

• Hot rolled SPHC oval steel tube, 120 x 50 x 3 mm section
• Laser cut components and robot welded joints for repeatable geometry
• Two protective base coats plus a final top coat of powder paint, around 300 microns in total
• Standard finish in black or grey, custom colours available on request
• Non slip rubber pads under each foot

This is a powder coated steel machine intended for indoor use. It is not a stainless steel outdoor product.

User contact points

Grip zones use extra strong TPR-EVA, soft to the hand and secure when hands are damp. The seat uses a double cylinder reinforcement design, with 2 mm upholstery leather over high density polyurethane foam that holds its shape under repeated commercial loading. Seat height is set with a quick adjustment knob, so the shoulder joint can be aligned with the handle axis in a few seconds between users. A safety bar limits the extent of the working area and reduces the risk of over extension at the bottom of the press.

All adjustment points are marked in yellow, which shortens instruction time for new members and lets floor staff check a set up at a glance.

How much floor space should be allowed around the machine?

The machine itself measures 185 x 155 cm. Allow clear access behind the seat and on both sides for loading and unloading discs, which in practice means budgeting a bay of roughly 2.6 x 2.3 m in a commercial layout.

Are Olympic plates included in the price?

No. The 1,575 EUR excluding VAT covers the machine only. Olympic discs, collars and storage horns are quoted separately, which lets you match plate type and total tonnage to your membership profile.

Can the machine be supplied in a club colour?

Black and grey are the standard powder coat finishes. Custom colours are possible and are priced per order, so include your RAL reference in the quotation request.
