Description
The Gold Line seated incline press is a plate loaded chest machine measuring 177 x 145 x 193.5 cm, weighing 235 kg and accepting users up to 180 kg. Its converging independent arms let each side travel on its own path, so the pressing angle follows the shoulder rather than forcing it. The incline sets the emphasis on the upper chest and front deltoid, the region a flat press under trains and the one most visible in a mirror, which is why the station is rarely idle on a commercial floor.

Converging arms and independent loading
Two features distinguish this machine from a fixed bar incline press. The arms converge, so the hands come together as the press finishes, matching the natural line of the pectoral fibres instead of running on parallel rails. And they work independently, so each side is loaded and moved separately, which prevents a stronger arm from carrying a weaker one and allows unilateral sets.
- Incline angle biasing the upper chest and front deltoid
- Converging, independent arms for a natural pressing path
- Twin gas cylinder seat adjustment, changed in seconds
- Four Ø50 mm plate storage positions built into the frame
- All adjustment points marked in yellow for unassisted setup
- 235 kg frame, 180 kg maximum user weight
Floor planning and durability
The station occupies 2.57 m2 and stands 193.5 cm high. Allow entry space at the front and clear access at both sides for loading; the integrated plate storage reduces but does not remove the need for a tree nearby. Total mass with plates commonly exceeds 400 kg on a compact base, so check the permissible floor load above ground level.
Construction is aimed at continuous commercial duty: 3 mm tube, laser cutting and robot welding for consistent joints, a 120 x 50 x 3 mm hot rolled SPHC oval main section, and TPR-EVA grips that stay usable when hands are wet. The 2 mm leather over high density PU foam is the component that determines how the machine looks after three years; wipe it with a neutral cleaner and check the pad fixings during routine servicing.
Frequently asked questions
Why an incline press rather than a flat chest press?
The incline shifts load onto the clavicular head of the pectoralis major and the anterior deltoid. Most members press flat by default, so a floor with both angles produces more balanced development and reduces queueing on the single chest station.
Can each arm be loaded separately?
Yes. The arms are independent, so different loads can be fitted per side and unilateral sets are possible, which is useful for correcting an imbalance.
Are Olympic plates included?
No. The machine is plate loaded and supplied without weights, though it carries four Ø50 mm plate storage positions on the frame. Plates are quoted separately.
