Description
Circinus carries four suspended net modules on nine steel posts and pairs them with four different slides: a tube slide, a straight slide, a double slide and a triple slide, all faced with animal-themed HPL panels. That range of descents is the defining feature and it solves a specific operational problem.
Four slides, four experiences
- Nine steel bearing posts
- Four play net modules suspended between the posts
- Tube slide, straight slide, double slide and triple slide
- Animal-themed HPL decorative panels on all slide elements
A single slide is a bottleneck. Four slides of different types spread the descent load and, more importantly, let children self-select: the cautious take the straight slide, confident groups race on the double or triple, and the tube slide gives an enclosed option that appeals to a different temperament again.
Site requirements
The structure covers 20.5 x 18.6 m and stands 4.6 m high, with a reserved zone of 24.4 x 22.8 m. Each slide exit needs its own clear run-out inside that zone, so orientation matters: set the exits away from circulation routes and boundary fences at layout stage rather than after the foundations are cast at 1.0 m depth.
Materials
Hot-dip galvanised steel structure, nets in braided polyamide rope reinforced with a zinc-plated steel core, animal-themed HPL panels on the slides.

Frequently asked questions
Do four slides increase the maintenance burden?
Marginally. Slide beds and side walls are inspected visually at each routine check; the HPL facing panels are individually replaceable if damaged, so a repair is a component swap rather than a slide replacement.
Can the slide positions be reorientated on our site?
The design is supplied as a certified assembly, but the whole structure can be rotated to suit the plot. Send us the layout constraints and we will position the exits on the site drawing before manufacture.
How does Circinus differ from Sagitta?
Both stand 4.6 m. Sagitta is larger, with seventeen posts, twelve net modules and three slides, so it prioritises net area; Circinus concentrates on slide variety with four net modules and four descents.
