Description
The Bodytone SRX15 is a plate-loaded iso-lateral seated row with a divergent arm path, rated to 250 kg total (125 kg per arm). It measures 145 x 115 x 130 cm, weighs 132 kg and takes users up to 150 kg. Professional price: 2,080 EUR excluding VAT.
Divergent path and independent arms
The difference from a linear horizontal row such as the SRX11 is the trajectory: the arms travel outwards as the pull progresses. That follows the natural arc of the shoulders and produces a fuller scapular retraction at the end of the movement, which is where a fixed-width row runs out of range.
The arms are also independent. On a bar-linked row, the dominant side takes over as soon as the load gets heavy, and the asymmetry persists. Iso-lateral arms remove that compensation and force symmetrical recruitment of the latissimus dorsi, rhomboids and trapezius.
