Description
The Bodytone SRX100 combines a guided Smith machine with a double pulley cable system, covering the large majority of strength exercises in one unit. The vertical guided rail handles squats, bench press, rowing and deadlift work, while the cables provide unrestricted movement for functional and isolation exercises. It complies with EN ISO 20957.
The reason the machine is specified so often for hotels and corporate facilities is safety in unsupervised use. Vertical guidance removes the risk of a bar falling out of the intended path, and the safety arms with adjustable notches stop the bar at a chosen height, so a user can push to failure on a squat or a bench press with no training partner present. That is precisely the scenario a hotel fitness room has to plan for: a guest training alone, late, with no member of staff on the floor.
Combining two machines in one frame also solves the footprint problem in rooms where a separate rack and a separate cable station would not both fit. A single unit takes one bay, one anchorage and one maintenance schedule, while covering guided barbell work, cable crossovers, pulldowns, rows and isolation movements.

Specifying for rooms without a coach on the floor
Hotels, serviced residences and company fitness rooms share one constraint: nobody is watching. That rules out heavy free weight benches and unracked barbell work, and it pushes the specification towards guided movement with mechanical stops. The SRX100 answers that without limiting members to fixed path machines, because the cable side keeps the exercise catalogue open. For a commercial gym the same unit works as the guided station of a strength zone, taking pressure off the free weight racks at peak times. Plan clearance on both cable sides for a full stroke, allow room to load and unload the bar on the guided rail, and check ceiling height against the top of the rail. A weightlifting grade rubber tile is the right floor specification underneath. Quotations are issued within 24 working hours and installation is available throughout France.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be used safely without a spotter?
Yes. The vertical guidance keeps the bar on its path and the adjustable safety arms stop it at the height you set, which is why the machine suits unsupervised rooms.
What are the overall dimensions?
Overall dimensions and the ceiling height requirement are supplied with the layout study prepared for your room before the order.
Does it replace a free weight area?
It covers most strength exercises in one unit. Clubs serving experienced lifters normally keep a free weight zone alongside it for barbell specific work.
