Description
The TRAINER Steel4Fit lifter, reference D02, is a pylon mounted outdoor pulling station of 96.2 x 74.1 x 202 cm weighing 40 kg, certified to EN 16630:2015. The guided pull loads the shoulders, the back, the scapular girdle and the pectorals. In a scheme with a fixed budget, this is the station that gets cut first and should not be, because a fitness area without a pulling movement trains only the muscles its users already overuse.

Cost over the life of the installation
Outdoor fitness equipment is bought once and maintained for fifteen to twenty years, and the purchase price is the smaller half of that equation. What drives the total is repainting, part replacement and the staff time absorbed by inspection findings. The Steel4Fit specification attacks exactly those items: metallurgically bonded zinc under two powder coats means no protective repainting, seamless S355 at the curves means no fatigue repair, and body weight resistance means there is no stack, cable or cylinder to replace.
- Pulling movement for shoulders, upper back and chest
- Direct counterpart to the D01 chest press on a shared pylon
- Seamless S355 curved elements, S235 straight members
- Hot dip galvanised then twice powder coated, no repainting for protection
- No mechanical wear parts beyond the pivot bushings
Pairing, siting and inspection
Where the layout allows, mount the D01 push station and the D02 pull station back to back on the same pylon. One foundation, one excavation, two complementary movements, and users naturally alternate between them. Reserve the 397 x 375 cm safety area, surface it against the free height of fall on the installation drawing, and keep the seat approach clear of paths and planting.
Routine checks cover the pivot bushings, the handle fixings and the pylon anchorage; the annual main inspection is recorded in the site log as required of the operator.
Frequently asked questions
Why install a pulling station when the park already has a chest press?
Because they train opposing groups. Pushing stations are used more readily and are easier to install, so parks end up push heavy, which reinforces the rounded shoulder posture most users arrive with. The pull station is what balances the circuit.
Is the pylon included?
No. The support pylon adds around 50 kg and is quoted separately with its foundation, delivery and installation.
What distinguishes the Steel4Fit build?
Seamless S355 steel for curved elements, S235 for straight parts, hot dip galvanising followed by two powder coats, and the red and graphite finish that identifies the reinforced range on site.
