Description
The TRAINER Steel4Fit single stepper reproduces the natural stair-climbing movement outdoors. Approximately 55 kg, hot-dip galvanised steel, EN 16630:2015 certified by TUV Rheinland. Price: 2,028 EUR excluding VAT.
Function and muscles worked
Stepping builds strength in the legs and glutes, works the hip and thigh musculature and engages the abdominals, while improving cardiovascular endurance. The movement is familiar to everyone, needs no instruction and self-regulates in intensity, which is why it suits a user population running from teenagers to older adults on the same station.
Steel4Fit: reinforced for high-traffic sites
Steel4Fit takes the proven TRAINER design and reinforces it for sites with very heavy footfall. Curved elements are made from seamless S355 steel and straight components from S235; the assembly is welded to a high standard, hot-dip galvanised, then powder-coated twice for maximum protection against corrosion and UV. Steps are aluminium and the finish is the range red and graphite (RAL 3000/7016).

Frequently asked questions
What does the reinforced Steel4Fit build actually change?
Steel grade and coating. Seamless S355 in the curved sections, hot-dip galvanising rather than surface treatment alone, and two powder coats. On a site with heavy traffic and exposure to vandalism, that specification is the difference between repainting every few years and not.
How much land is needed?
The unit occupies roughly 800 x 740 mm, but the recommended safety zone of approximately 3,800 x 3,740 mm is the planning figure. Safety zones of adjacent stations may overlap under certain conditions; we set this out on the siting drawing.
Which sites is it designed for?
Urban parks, municipal fitness areas, campuses, residential zones and public spaces with heavy usage that need equipment which stays serviceable over a long installed life.
Installation and groundwork
The station is anchored on base plates set into concrete foundations, or fixed to an existing concrete slab where one is available. Groundwork is normally the largest single line in an outdoor fitness budget after the equipment itself, which is why the siting drawing matters: getting the foundation positions right first time avoids the cost of a second excavation. We supply the drawing with the quotation and can carry out installation anywhere in France.
Price: 2,028 EUR excluding VAT, excluding delivery and installation. A consolidated quotation can cover several references for a complete fitness area. Send us your site plan for a siting drawing and price within 24 to 72 hours.
