Description
Configuration 34 runs 33.1 m long and only 7.3 m wide. Two matching rope play structures sit at either end, joined by a trampoline module, with a complementary decorative structure and a triple slide completing the layout. It is the configuration for sites that have length but very little width.
Components
- Two matching rope play structures
- A trampoline module forming the link between them
- A complementary decorative structure
- A triple slide
The trampoline as a connector
Using a trampoline module as the transition between two structures does two things at once. It solves the circulation problem, giving children a route from one end to the other, and it introduces a completely different physical activity into a rope-based layout. Bouncing recruits different muscle groups from climbing, and it draws in children who find a climbing structure intimidating.
Site and installation
Reserve 36.7 x 11.1 m of clear ground, one of the narrowest zones of any large configuration. The free height of fall is 3.0 m, foundations are cast at 1.0 m depth, and heavy construction plant access is required for installation. Finishes are supplied in the colours of your choice.
Materials
Hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated steel structure.

Two matching structures, one advantage
Using identical units at either end simplifies spares and inspection. The same components appear twice, so a grounds team carries one parts list rather than two, and any wear pattern found on one structure is an early warning for the other.
Frequently asked questions
How much maintenance does a trampoline module need?
The jumping surface and its fixings are checked at every routine visual inspection and assessed in detail at the annual main inspection. It is the component most sensitive to wear on this configuration, so it should be named explicitly in the inspection schedule.
Will 11.1 m of width really be enough?
Yes, that is the full reserved zone including the safety area. It makes configuration 34 viable along a promenade, a river bank or the boundary of a sports pitch where a square layout could never be accommodated.
Can we choose the colours?
Yes. The steelwork is powder coated to your chosen scheme; confirm the reference at order stage.
Send us the length and width of the strip you have and your colour scheme and we will return a costed layout. Browse the complex playground configurations range or request a quote.
