Description
Configuration 36 is the entry point to the large configurations. Five components, a play structure, a transition passage, a rope play pyramid with a double slide and an additional triple slide, occupy 23.2 x 19.0 m and rise to 7.0 m, needing a reserved zone of 27.0 x 23.3 m.
Components
- A play structure
- A rope play pyramid
- A double slide
- An additional triple slide
- A transition passage between the two units
Stepping up from a single structure
Many clients arrive at a configuration after a single structure has proved too small. The step is significant: from a reserved area under 200 square metres to more than 600, from one set of foundations to several, and from a modest surfacing package to one that will dominate the groundworks budget. Configuration 36 is the smallest of the multi-unit layouts, so it is usually where that transition is best tested.
Site and installation
Free height of fall 3.0 m, foundations at 1.0 m depth, and heavy construction plant access required. Both slides need clear run-outs inside the reserved zone.
Materials
Hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated steel structure.

Frequently asked questions
Is a configuration better value than two separate structures?
Generally yes, because the linked units share safety zones and a single mobilisation covers all the foundations. Two independent structures each need their own clear area, which increases the total surfacing bill.
Why a double slide and a triple slide?
Side-by-side slides turn descent into a shared activity rather than a queue, and they clear the upper levels quickly, which matters when a configuration this size fills up at a weekend.
What is the smallest plot that will take it?
27.0 x 23.3 m of clear ground. Below that, a single large pyramid such as CALIBAN or a Diamond Collection structure will give better value than a compromised configuration.
