Description
The Bodytone FH23 is a dual function pec fly and rear delt machine: the same station opens the chest in one direction and works the posterior shoulder in the other. A double grip gives access to several working angles, so the coach can change the emphasis without moving the member to another machine. Combining two movements on one frame is what makes it valuable in a constrained room, since it covers a pushing isolation and a pulling isolation on a single 130 x 150 cm base. It is specified for commercial clubs, hotel gyms, corporate facilities and postural rehabilitation programmes.

Two movements, one footprint
Because the arms swing through a wide arc on both sides of the seat, the FH23 needs lateral clearance rather than depth. Allow free space to the left and right of the base across the full arc, and avoid siting a mirror or a walkway where the arms finish their travel. Two functions on one frame also means the station is occupied longer than a single purpose machine, which is worth taking into account when you size equipment quantities against peak attendance.
Overall height is 205 cm, higher than most of the Forza FH range, so verify the clear ceiling height at the intended position including any suspended ceiling or ductwork. Net weight is 252 kg and must be checked against permissible floor loading for an installation above ground level.
Servicing focuses on the arm pivots, which take alternating loads as the machine is reconfigured between the fly and the rear delt setting, plus the cable, pulleys and the seat height lock. Clean the arm pads and back pad with a neutral cleaner after use.
Configuration and stack options
The standard 107 kg stack can be specified at 134 kg. In practice the isolation nature of both movements means most users work well below the top of the standard stack, so the extension is normally reserved for sites with a bodybuilding or strength sport population. Colours and upholstery are confirmed at the quotation stage.
Frequently asked questions
How does the machine switch between pec fly and rear delt?
The arms and the seating position are reconfigured so that the user faces the back pad for the fly and faces the other way for the rear delt, with the dual grip providing the different hand positions. Both movements draw on the same weight stack.
Is the rear delt function useful outside bodybuilding?
Yes. Posterior shoulder and upper back work is one of the standard counterweights to desk posture, so the rear delt setting is regularly programmed in corporate fitness rooms and in physiotherapy practices, not only in strength focused clubs.
What clearance does the arc of the arms require?
The base is 130 x 150 cm, but the working envelope is wider than the frame because the arms travel outward on both sides. Plan the station as an open position with free lateral space rather than tucking it between two other machines.
