Bodytone EVOE1+ Professional Cross Trainer: an Elite Choice for Clubs
In brief: the Bodytone EVOE1+ is a professional cross trainer built for continuous use in commercial gyms, hotel fitness rooms and clubs. It is judged on the three things that decide whether a cardio machine survives a club floor: stride length, flywheel inertia and bearing quality. The rest, connectivity included, is what keeps members on the machine once they are there.
Why the console matters less than the frame
Connected consoles have changed what members expect from a cardio line. On the EVOE1+ that means a TFT touchscreen console running Android, so applications can be installed directly on the machine, with WiFi, HDMI, AV, Ethernet and USB connectivity, tracking through the MyBodytone app and an included Polar heart rate monitor for accurate training data.
That is the part members notice. It is not the part that decides your cost of ownership. Screens are replaceable; a frame is not. The EVOE1+ is built on steel tubing of 110 x 52 mm with a 3 mm wall thickness, which is what allows the machine to take a heavy user at speed without the perceptible flex that eventually destroys bearings and guide surfaces.
The three specifications a buyer should compare
Stride length comes first. The EVOE1+ offers a 53 cm stride, which accommodates tall users without forcing them into a shortened, unnatural gait. A cross trainer that is too short is the single most common reason a machine sits unused in a club.
Maximum user weight comes second, because it is a proxy for structural sizing rather than an exclusion criterion. The EVOE1+ is rated for users up to 160 kg, which in practice means the frame and bearings are sized well above the load of an average session.
Resistance range comes third. The machine offers 20 intensity levels, enough to cover a rehabilitation session and an interval workout on the same equipment, which matters in facilities where one machine has to serve very different populations.
Dual-action moving arms bring the upper body into the movement, gel-padded pedals reduce foot pressure over long sessions, and an integrated heart rate monitor keeps intensity control on the machine rather than on the member.
Where this machine fits
The EVOE1+ sits in the segment where a hotel or a club wants a cardio line that looks current and holds up to unsupervised use. Hotels benefit from the Android console because guests use the machine for a few sessions and expect their own content. Clubs benefit from the frame and the stride, because their machines run all day. Rehabilitation and senior-focused rooms benefit from the low entry intensity and the integrated heart rate control.
Bodytone also offers the EVOE1+ in the operator’s own colours, which is worth knowing at the specification stage rather than after ordering.

Planning a cardio line around it
A cardio line is planned as a whole, not machine by machine. Count the peak simultaneous users rather than the total membership, decide the split between treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and rowers from the actual usage profile of your facility, and check the electrical supply and the floor before ordering. Cross trainers are usually the most forgiving item in the mix, which is why they absorb overflow when treadmills are busy.
Frequently asked questions
What stride length does the Bodytone EVOE1+ offer?
53 cm, which suits tall users without forcing a shortened gait. Stride length is the specification to check first on any professional cross trainer.
What is the maximum user weight?
160 kg. On a commercial machine that figure is best read as an indication of how the frame and bearings are sized, not only as a limit.
Is the console really useful in a club?
It is useful where members train alone and unsupervised, which is most hotel and club floors. The Android system, WiFi and MyBodytone tracking keep users on the machine longer. It is a retention argument, not a durability argument.
Can the machine be supplied in our own colours?
Yes, Bodytone offers customisation of the EVOE1+ in the operator’s colours. Confirm it at quotation stage, as it affects lead time.
