Description
The Cube Active is a timber play structure with a 3.10 by 4.91 metre footprint standing 3.37 metres high, certified to EN 1176-1:2017-12 for children aged 3 to 12. It combines a stainless steel 316L slide, a vertical climbing net, a suspended spider web net, timber platforms and interactive play panels. The price is 20,500 EUR excluding VAT.
The Active version is built around movement. Children reach the main platform by the vertical net of braided high resistance rope, cross the interior on a suspended horizontal net that acts as a floating floor, and exit by the slide. Several access points, stairs, climbing nets and side openings, let children of different ages choose a route they can manage, which is what keeps a mixed group using the same structure.
Timber is autoclave treated against ultraviolet, moisture and insects. The slide is stainless steel 316L specified as anti vandal, hygienic and resistant to weather and intensive use, which is the combination public sites need.

Installation and specification for public sites
The structure is delivered as a kit for installation on anchored posts, so the ground work is post foundations rather than a slab. Set out the falling space around the 3.10 by 4.91 metre footprint before fixing positions: under EN 1176 the impact attenuating area extends beyond the equipment on all sides, and its critical fall height under EN 1177 has to match the highest accessible platform.
Stainless steel 316L on the slide is worth noting when comparing suppliers. It is the grade specified for coastal and chlorinated environments and it will not need a surface treatment renewed, which for a slide, the most used and most abused component of any play structure, changes the maintenance profile over ten years.
Delivery covers Europe with technical assistance available, and volume pricing applies from ten units, the usual case for a school group, a municipality or a leisure park operator renewing several sites in one budget cycle.
