Description
The Active Play Set P5004 is a linear children’s ninja obstacle course that fits into a narrow strip of ground. With a footprint of 6.47 x 1.08 m it suits sites where length is available but width is not, such as the edge of a school yard, a path through a park or a corridor between existing play equipment. The unit is certified to EN 1176-1:2017-12 and manufactured entirely within the European Union.
The circuit runs through four elements. It opens with a horizontal ladder carrying round yellow stepper pods that children walk across as if on suspended steps, which trains balance, concentration and motor coordination. A vertical bar mounted on a small round platform then acts as a transition and support point, usable as a holding or pivot challenge. At the centre, an inclined rope net bridge tensioned on a steel frame forms a hump the children climb up and then descend, building upper body strength and confidence. The course closes with a group of raised round balance pods crossed by jumping or by unstable stepping, which develops agility and dynamic coordination.
Because the layout is linear, the P5004 reads clearly as a course rather than as scattered equipment, and children queue and progress in one direction. That is a practical advantage on busy sites. Each unit can be installed on its own, and the range is designed to be combined with a climbing net, a forest play set and a spring rider. Additional discounts apply from ten units.

Choosing a linear layout
A narrow course changes how a play area is planned. The 1.08 m equipment width is only the structure itself: EN 1176 requires free space on both sides, and above the defined free height of fall an impact attenuating surface tested to EN 1177. In practice the reserved strip is considerably wider than the unit, so the layout study is done before ground works are ordered rather than after.
The linear form also suits phased budgets. A first order can equip one path, and a second phase can add a climbing net or a play tower at the far end without moving what is already anchored. Delivery covers France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, with export quoted per project.
Frequently asked questions
How much ground do I actually need?
More than the 6.47 x 1.08 m equipment footprint. The impact area and free space figures are supplied with the layout study, along with the free height of fall used to specify the surfacing.
Is the P5004 supplied assembled?
The set is delivered for assembly and anchoring on site. We provide the installation drawings, and a turnkey installation can be quoted with the equipment.
Can it be combined with other Active Play units?
Yes. Each unit is autonomous, and the range is designed to be used together, typically with a climbing net, a forest play set and a spring rider.
