Description
The Active Play Set P5005 concentrates climbing and hanging work into a compact 4.10 x 2.63 m footprint. Total height is 1.60 m, which keeps the free height of fall low and makes the unit straightforward to place in a school yard, a residence garden or a small municipal play area. It is certified to EN 1176-1:2017-12 and manufactured entirely within the European Union.
Three elements share the frame. A triangular inclined panel fitted with climbing holds forms the climbing wall, so children ascend using grip, coordination and balance rather than pure strength. Alongside it, a vertical net of braided ropes fixed to a rigid frame offers a second route to the top, which matters because two access options let a group flow instead of queueing at a single point. The third element is a horizontal monkey bar ladder with steel rungs, crossed by hanging and advancing rung by rung, which is the part of the set that develops upper body strength and shoulder stability.
The combination is deliberately simple. Rather than a long circuit, the P5005 gives repeatable challenges in a small area, which is why it works well as a first purchase or as an addition beside existing swings or a slide. Each unit can be installed individually, and the range is designed to be combined with a climbing net, a forest play set and a spring rider. Discounts apply from ten units.

Where a compact climbing unit works best
At 1.60 m overall the P5005 stays within the height band that keeps surfacing requirements moderate, which is often the deciding factor for small sites. EN 1176 still requires free space around the structure and an impact attenuating surface tested to EN 1177 under the falling zones, but a lower structure generally means a thinner surfacing build-up and lower ground works cost.
The unit is equally relevant to campsites, holiday parks and hotel gardens, where a compact structure has to earn its space. Because the climbing wall and the net face different directions, the set can be positioned against a boundary on one side without losing an access route. Delivery covers France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, and export is quoted per project.
Frequently asked questions
Does the low height reduce the surfacing required?
Surfacing is specified from the free height of fall, not from the overall height alone. We supply that figure with the layout study so the EN 1177 surface can be quoted accurately.
Can the monkey bars be used by adults?
The set is designed and certified as children’s playground equipment under EN 1176. For adult training we supply calisthenics cages and street workout rigs built to EN 16630.
What ground fixing is used?
The structure is anchored into the ground on prepared foundations. Foundation details are issued with the installation drawings once the site layout is confirmed.
