Description
The Magic Nets playground stretches a nearly flat cable network inside a monumental bent-steel frame, then twists it into a rope funnel anchored to the ground. Children scramble across the suspended net, slide into the funnel and climb back out along at least 18 climbing lines — a piece of equipment that feels closer to an adventure course than a classic climbing frame.
An unusual geometry that children read instantly
The frame is bent from steel tube with a minimum diameter of 300 mm, giving the structure its generous, sculptural curves. Inside, the suspended cable networks form a nearly flat surface running from the lower part of the frame to its highest point before funnelling down to ground level. A stork nest seat mounted in front of the funnel provides a resting spot in the middle of the action.
