Description
The Large Spider Circuit is one of the most extensive rope playgrounds in our range: a 47.2 x 28.8 m course of steel arches and rope nets on which dozens of children can climb, traverse and rest at the same time. Built around two independent closed loops — an inner and an outer circuit — linked by robust rope nets, it turns a whole section of a park into a continuous climbing adventure for ages 5 to 14.
Two loops, endless routes
Because the inner and outer loops are independent yet connected by nets, children can invent circuit after circuit without ever repeating the same route. At least 2,000 m of rope is used across the structure, creating a genuinely spacious play field rather than a single queueing attraction — a decisive argument for high-traffic public parks.
Equipment along the circuit
- 8 mm rubber mats for sitting, lying and rolling
- Climbing ropes fitted with polyamide steps
- Rope loungers for resting between climbs
- Seats and platforms suspended from the upper cable networks
Materials and construction
The steel structure is hot-dip galvanised and powder coated for maximum corrosion resistance, anchored on reinforced concrete footings at 1.0 m depth. Ropes are 18 mm braided, bonded polyamide, and the connectors combine aluminium, stainless steel and plastic for stability and strength.

Frequently asked questions
How many children can play at once?
With two full loops, connecting nets and rest stations spread over more than 1,300 m², the circuit absorbs large groups; capacity is confirmed in the siting study for your layout.
What ground preparation is required?
Reinforced concrete footings at 1.0 m depth, plus impact-attenuating surfacing where required by the fall heights — both are covered in the project quotation.
Can the layout be adapted to my site?
Yes. The loop geometry can be studied against your available area; send us a site plan for a feasibility review.
