Description
The Football Arena rope playground is a landmark climbing structure for large public spaces. A 7-metre central mast and six curved steel arches carry a net of six rope walls, echoing the shape of a stadium and giving children aged 5 to 14 an arena they can climb through rather than simply look at. Materials chosen for intensive public use
The main columns are hot-dip galvanised steel for long-term corrosion protection, anchored in reinforced concrete foundations laid at a depth of 1.0 m. The net is made of polyamide rope reinforced with galvanised steel cores, and the connecting elements combine plastic, aluminium and stainless steel. Cast steel parts are protected by chlorinated rubber paint, extending the service life of the whole unit outdoors.
