Description
At 15.0 x 13.2 m and 4.7 m high, TARGIONA is specified when the brief calls for a single structure that will define the character of a whole park. The extensive net network runs across several levels and connects a series of raised platforms, giving a large group of children room to spread out instead of competing for one route.
Specifying at this scale
- Reinforced stainless steel structural posts sized for sustained public loading
- An extensive network of nets and cordage across several levels
- Linked raised platforms distributed across the plan rather than stacked on one axis
- Installation requires suitable lifting equipment and a clear access route
Groundworks and access
Foundations are cast in high-strength concrete at 1.0 m depth and the reserved zone is 17.8 x 17.1 m. Because assembly needs mechanical lifting, site access should be checked early: a landscaped park with soft ground or narrow gated entrances can add days to the programme if the constraint is discovered late. We ask for a site plan and an access photograph before confirming an installation date.
Materials
Reinforced stainless steel posts; 18 mm polyamide rope with a braided galvanised steel core, cut resistant and UV stabilised; aluminium and stainless steel connectors; HPL decorative panels resistant to weather and impact.

Frequently asked questions
How much surfacing will a unit this size need?
The impact area follows the 17.8 x 17.1 m safety zone and must be dimensioned for a 2.6 m free height of fall. On projects of this scale the surfacing is a significant budget line, so we price equipment and surfacing together rather than leaving it to be discovered later.
Can TARGIONA be phased or reduced?
The unit is supplied as a single design. Where the budget or the plot will not carry it, a smaller structure from the same family, such as FUCUS or BYSSUS, delivers comparable materials at a different scale.
What ongoing inspection does it require?
The same regime as any public playground: routine visual checks, periodic operational inspections and an annual main inspection, with particular attention to rope tension, connector condition and the state of the impact surfacing.
Send us the plot dimensions, the access route and your surfacing preference, and we will return a costed proposal with layout drawing and certification file. Browse the rope play sets range or request a quote.
