Description
JONKER runs 14.8 m long and just 4.7 m wide. It is designed to be read as a journey rather than a destination: climbing nets along the full length, staggered raised platforms and a secure entry point for the youngest users, all held to a 1.0 m free height of fall.
Play that follows a route
Long, narrow equipment does something a square structure cannot. It gives a playground direction, edges a walking route with activity, and lets children set their own pace along a line instead of competing for a single summit. On promenades, park paths and the long boundary of a residential courtyard, that is exactly the intervention the space needs.

Frequently asked questions
How close to a footpath can JONKER be installed?
The 17.5 x 7.5 m safety area must be clear of the path, kerbs and any street furniture. In practice the unit is set back from the route and the surfacing edge forms the transition, which also stops loose fill migrating onto the path.
Does the length increase the inspection burden?
Slightly, because there is more rope to check, but the low uniform fall height simplifies the surfacing inspection. A linear layout is generally quicker to walk and record than a dense multi-level structure of similar rope length.
Can the run be shortened to suit our plot?
JONKER is supplied as a single certified design. Where 17.5 m of clear length is not available, SANCHO or EXCELSIOR provide the same materials and fall height in a squarer plan.
