Description

The SW15 street workout set is a complete calisthenics park supplied as a coordinated group of modules rather than as a single cage. It brings together the apparatus a bodyweight training area actually needs: parallel dip bars, pull up bars, gymnastic rings, an abdominal board, monkey bars and parallettes, each specified with the bar diameters that make the movements work. Because the modules are separate, several users train at once without sharing a frame, which suits a municipal park, a school ground, a campsite or a residential development. The set is priced at 28 500 EUR excluding VAT.

Laying out the modules, surfacing and anchoring

A module set is laid out, not simply installed. Think of the sequence a user follows, keep at least 1.50 m of clear peripheral zone around each module as EN 16630 requires, and place the hanging apparatus where the surfacing depth can be increased without disrupting the rest of the area. Impact attenuating surfacing to EN 1177 is sized against the critical fall height of the pull up bars and monkey bars, which are the tallest elements. For the landing zone we recommend our 40 to 65 mm impact attenuating tiles laid bonded.

Anchoring is by base plates bolted into concrete foundation blocks, or directly onto an existing slab where one is available. On a freely accessible site such as a municipal fitness area, a park or a school yard, EN 16630 applies in full. On a closed private site the same requirements remain the reference for good practice, and insurers generally expect them to be met.

The bar dimensions are the detail that separates a usable park from a decorative one. Dip bars need roughly 48 mm of diameter for a secure hold and curved ends so a hammer grip is possible; pull up bars work better at around 32 mm, where the hand can close properly, over a standard 1.50 m length that gives room for wide grip work.

Frequently asked questions

Why a set of modules rather than one cage?

Throughput and layout freedom. Separate modules can be spread across the available ground, follow an existing path or fit an awkward plot, and users are not waiting for one frame to clear. A single cage concentrates everything in one place, which is better where floor area is very tight.

What can be trained on the SW15?

The full bodyweight repertoire: pull ups and rows on the bars, dips and hammer grip work on the parallel bars, muscle ups and lever work on the rings, core work on the abdominal board, traverses on the monkey bars, and L-sits, V-sits and planche progressions on the parallettes.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. The abdominal board and the parallettes are low risk starting points, and the same apparatus supports advanced work as users progress, which is why a well specified street workout park keeps its regulars for years.
