Description
The Double Hexagon station is built from two connected hexagons forming two distinct but linked training zones, with capacity for 20 simultaneous users. It is the only twin zone structure in the range and carries a dual classification as street workout equipment and as fitness trail equipment. The price is 18,000 EUR excluding VAT.
The reason for two hexagons rather than one large cage is user management. On a single rectangular frame, everybody shares the same undifferentiated space, so a resident doing stretching work ends up next to an athlete linking muscle ups. Splitting the equipment into two connected zones lets a site run accessible stations on one hexagon, low bars, abdominal work, stretching and assisted push-ups, and advanced stations on the other, monkey bars, high bars, pull-ups and muscle ups.
The same architecture supports two supervised groups at once, one instructor per hexagon, or a single circuit of twelve or more stations where users cross through the central junction between the two halves.

Compliance, anchoring and circuit operation
On an open access site, a municipal fitness area, a park or a school yard, the installation falls under EN 16630. That requires a clear safety zone of at least 1.50 metres around the structure and an impact attenuating surface to EN 1177, its thickness set by the free fall height. On a closed private site such as a military base or a company campus, those figures remain the reference for good practice. For the landing area we recommend bonded rubber gym flooring tiles of 40 to 65 mm.
Anchoring is by base plates cast into concrete foundations, or bolted to an existing slab. The structure is designed for permanent outdoor exposure.
For military and fire service physical training the twelve station circuit is the operational argument: twenty people rotate every 45 to 60 seconds with no dead time, which is a different training logic from a sequential ninja style course where users queue at the start.
Frequently asked questions
Why two hexagons rather than a single larger cage?
Because it physically separates audiences on one piece of equipment. Beginners, seniors and fitness trail users occupy one hexagon while confirmed athletes use the other, and the two remain connected for circuit work.
Can an existing single hexagon be extended?
Yes. The Double Hexagon belongs to the modular hexagon range and is the extension of the single HEX structure. Contact us to add the second module to an installation you already have.
Why does the dual classification matter to a local authority?
Because equipment classified for both street workout and fitness trail use serves athletes, seniors and families from the same investment, and can be presented against both sport and health prevention budget lines.
