BL-ACR3 outdoor street workout cage

The BL-ACR3 measures 7,350 by 3,650 by 3,240 mm, which makes it one of the larger street workout cages in the range and a genuine group training structure. Its length allows several athletes to work simultaneously on separate stations rather than queueing at a single bar.

That size is the specification decision. A 7.35 metre frame supports a full class, a club session or a busy municipal fitness area at peak time, where a compact cage would create waiting. The 3,240 mm height gives room for high bar work, muscle ups and hanging travel, and the 3,650 mm depth allows stations on both faces rather than on a single line. As with the rest of the BL range, the frame accepts further accessories to increase the number of work positions.

The cage covers athletic strength, weightlifting technique, gymnastics, agility and endurance work. Steel treatment follows the outdoor process used across our street workout structures: cold formed tube with a corrosion resistant internal coating, hot dip zinc, chromate conversion, washing and sanitising, then an oven baked powder coat with UV stable polyester pigments.

Ground area to reserve on site

With a structure of 7.35 by 3.65 metres and a mandatory clear zone of 1.50 m on every side, the reserved ground area comes to roughly 10.35 by 6.65 metres, close to 69 square metres. That figure, not the frame dimensions, is what should be checked against the site plan, and it is the single most common cause of a project being redesigned after tender. The surfacing budget follows the same area, with thickness set by the free height of fall of the highest bar under EN 1177. For the landing area we recommend our 40 to 65 mm impact absorbing tiles laid bonded. Anchorage is on base plates into concrete foundations or onto an existing slab. Implantation study and anchorage drawing are available on request, with quotations issued within 24 working hours.
