Description
The OD-2000 is a complete outdoor street workout cage designed for permanent exposure and free public access. It combines pull up, dip, bar and body weight stations on one structure, covering athletic strength, weightlifting technique, gymnastics, agility and endurance work in a single footprint.
Corrosion protection is where an outdoor rig is won or lost. The tubes are cold formed for high tensile strength and carry a corrosion resistant internal coating. Externally they are hot dip zinc coated, then given a chromate conversion coating, washed and sanitised before an oven baked powder coat is applied, which produces a strong molecular bond to the tube. The super durable polyester powder coat provides light stable pigments, high UV stability and resistance to fading, so a rig installed in full sun does not chalk out after two seasons. Stainless steel components are used where rust and corrosion resistance matters most.
The frame accepts additional accessories, so a municipality or a club can start with the core cage and extend the number of work positions later without replacing the structure.

Installation, compliance and anchorage
Installed with free public access, in a municipal fitness area, a park or a school yard, the cage falls under EN 16630 for outdoor fitness modules. That means a peripheral safety zone of at least 1.50 m clear of any obstacle and an impact absorbing surface compliant with EN 1177 under and around the structure, with thickness calculated from the free height of fall of the highest station. On private closed sites, a military base, a company ground or a box, those requirements remain the reference for good practice even where they are not compulsory. Anchorage is either into purpose made concrete foundations through base plates or onto an existing concrete slab. For the landing area we recommend our 40 to 65 mm impact absorbing tiles laid bonded. The implantation study and the anchorage drawing are supplied on request, and quotations are issued within 24 working hours.
Frequently asked questions
What surfacing thickness do we need?
Thickness is calculated from the free height of fall of the highest station under EN 1177. We supply the calculation with the implantation study.
Can accessories be added later?
Yes. The frame is designed to accept additional accessories so the number of work positions can grow with demand.
How long does the finish last outdoors?
The multi stage treatment, hot dip zinc, chromate conversion and oven baked powder coat, is specified for permanent outdoor exposure. Steel structures carry a 20 year warranty.
