Description
The BLCRP-3 Gym Rings Module equips a composed outdoor street workout cage with suspended gymnastic rings, mounted on a hot-dip galvanised steel frame with a UV-stable polyester powder coat and a 20-year structural warranty. It brings instability training, the hardest form of bodyweight work, into permanent outdoor use.
Why rings change everything
Fixed bars stabilise the movement for you; rings do not. Every ring dip, row, hold or muscle-up progression forces the shoulders and core to control two independent supports, recruiting stabilising muscles that fixed equipment never touches. For a public cage, the rings module is what separates a genuinely gymnastic installation from a simple bar park, and it scales from assisted ring rows for beginners to full ring strength work for advanced athletes.

From first hang to muscle-up
The rings module supports a complete multi-year progression. Phase one is feet-on-ground: ring rows, assisted dips and push-ups with the straps taking part of the bodyweight. Phase two moves to full suspension, support holds, ring dips, tuck L-sits, building the stabiliser strength fixed bars never develop. Phase three is skill territory: transitions, muscle-up progressions and straight-arm work. Because every phase uses the same installed module, a public cage equipped with rings serves a beginner boot camp on Monday and an advanced calisthenics club on Tuesday without any reconfiguration, which is the kind of usage density municipal investments are judged on.
Frequently asked questions
Are the rings themselves replaceable?
Yes. Rings and straps are wear parts by nature and can be renewed without touching the galvanised frame, which is the component covered by the 20-year structural warranty. Sites in intensive use typically inspect straps at each maintenance round and replace them on condition, a few minutes of work per module.
Are rings suitable for a public, unsupervised site?
Yes, positioned sensibly. Ring height and the surrounding impact surfacing are defined at the layout stage, and beginners naturally start with feet-on-ground exercises such as ring rows before progressing to suspended work.
What exercises does the module support?
Ring rows, ring push-ups, dips, L-sit holds, skin-the-cat mobility work and muscle-up progressions, plus suspension-trainer style drills for group sessions.
How does it combine with other BL modules?
The rings frame integrates into the composed cage alongside pull-up, dip, wall-bar and monkey-bar modules. Send us your training goals and we will configure the structure, footprint and anchoring for the complete cage.
