Description
Rope play configuration no. 19 is the widest-ranging layout in the series: three rope climbing pyramids linked by tube slides, access shafts, a rocket module, a trampoline element and transition passages, across 49.0 x 30.7 m. It is a complete play circuit for the largest public parks, not a single item of equipment.
Three pyramids, three difficulty levels
Having three pyramids rather than one large one is the design decision that matters. Each can be pitched differently — net mesh, height reached, how enclosed the interior is — so a 5-year-old, an 8-year-old and a 13-year-old all find one that suits them, on the same installation, at the same time. Groups self-sort instead of competing for a single structure.
- Three rope climbing pyramids
- Multiple tube slides
- Rocket module
- Trampoline linking element
- Transition passages between the structures
Circuit rather than cluster
The transition passages and the trampoline element join the three pyramids into a loop. Children complete a circuit and start again, which is a materially different visit length from a cluster of separate equipment where each item is used once. For a park operator measuring dwell time and repeat visits, that is the return on the investment.
Materials and groundworks
Hot-dip galvanised steel in standard finish. Foundations at 1.0 m depth across the full 49 m length: expect a significant excavation and concrete programme, and confirm services and ground conditions along the whole run before setting out.
Surfacing
The free height of fall is 3.0 m. The impact area requires a surface certified to EN 1177 for a critical fall height of at least 3.0 m across a 53.3 x 35.2 m safety area — over 1,870 m². The equipment is certified to EN 1176-1:2017 by an independent certification body; the surfacing sits under EN 1177 and is priced separately.

Frequently asked questions
Can the three pyramids be ordered separately?
Yes — each is a separately certified component. What you lose is the circuit: without the transition passages the installation becomes three items rather than one loop, and the play pattern changes accordingly.
How is the trampoline element maintained?
As a wearing component with its own inspection points and a finite service life. Budget for periodic replacement of the sprung surface over the life of the installation.
Is this realistic for a mid-size town?
The constraint is usually land and surfacing rather than the equipment. If you have under about 1,900 m² of clear ground, one of the two- or three-structure configurations in the series will fit the site better.
Send us the plot survey, ground conditions, access routes and surfacing intentions, and we will return a costed proposal with a scaled siting drawing and surfacing schedule within 24 business hours.
