Description
Rope play configuration no. 29 is the largest layout in this series: six components spread over 31.3 x 19.9 m, built around a stadium-form central structure with a triple slide, a transition walkway and a second play structure carrying a straight slide and a double slide. The decorative treatment draws on animal motifs, which gives the installation a single readable identity across a large plot.
Components
- Stadium-form central structure
- Triple slide on the central structure
- Secondary play structure
- Straight slide and double slide
- Transition walkway between the two structures
- Animal-themed decorative panels throughout
Why a themed destination layout
At this scale the specification question is no longer "how many play values" but "will families travel to it". A coherent decorative theme across six components is what turns a large equipment purchase into a destination park that draws users from outside the immediate catchment — the argument that usually carries a capital bid at a district or borough level.
Materials and finish
Hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated steel structure with themed decorative elements. Galvanising provides the corrosion protection and the powder coat provides the colour, which is why the theming holds its appearance on an exposed site over a long service life.
Fall height, surfacing and foundations
The free height of fall is 3.0 m and the structure reaches 7.0 m overall. The impact area requires a surface certified to EN 1177 for a critical fall height of at least 3.0 m — at this fall height that generally means wet-pour rubber or a deep, well-maintained loose fill, and the surfacing will be a significant share of the project budget. Foundations are 1.0 m deep. The equipment itself is certified to PN EN 1176-1:2017 by an independent certification body; the surfacing is covered by EN 1177, not by EN 1176-1.

Frequently asked questions
What plot size should I reserve?
More than the 31.3 x 19.9 m footprint. Six components produce overlapping safety areas whose combined envelope depends on how the units are arranged on your plot, so we issue the safety area with the siting drawing rather than as a catalogue figure.
Can the animal theme be changed?
The decorative panels are the variable element. Colours and motifs can be adapted to a local identity or a park branding scheme; the structural components stay the same, so the certification is unaffected.
Is 7.0 m overall height a planning issue?
It can be, close to residential boundaries or in a designated area. Raise it early with your planning officer; we can supply elevations for a pre-application discussion.
Send us the plot survey, the ground conditions and your surfacing intentions and we will return a costed proposal with a scaled siting drawing for configuration no. 29 within 24 business hours.
