Description
Lacerta uses six masts to carry seven suspended net modules of varying shape across a 9.7 x 5.5 m rectangle. It is the mid-range option in the suspended-net family: enough modules for a genuine climbing circuit, on a footprint that fits a standard rectangular plot beside a path or a car park.
Powder-coated as standard
Lacerta differs from most of the masts in this family in one respect worth knowing at specification stage: the 168.3 mm steel posts are hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated. That gives a colour finish over the metallurgical corrosion protection, which matters where a park has a colour scheme, where a housing scheme wants the equipment to sit with the architecture, or where a bare galvanised finish has been rejected at consultation.
- Six steel load-bearing masts, galvanised and powder-coated
- Seven net modules in varying shapes, suspended between the masts
- Galvanised turnbuckles for rope tension adjustment
A rectangle that fits real plots
At 9.7 x 5.5 m with a 13.9 x 9.6 m safety area, Lacerta needs about 133 m² of clear ground. That is within reach of a village playground, a mid-size campsite or a school field edge, and the elongated proportion suits sites where the usable strip is longer than it is wide.
Materials
Steel posts of 168.3 mm diameter, hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated. Polyamide rope of 18 mm diameter with a zinc-coated steel core. Aluminium and stainless steel connectors.
Surfacing
The landing area must be laid with an impact-attenuating surface suited to the 2.85 m free height of fall and certified to EN 1177. The equipment itself conforms to PN EN 1176-1:2017. EN 1176-1 covers the equipment; the surface below it is a separate specification under EN 1177.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose the powder coat colour?
Colour options are confirmed at quotation stage. Specify it at enquiry rather than after order, since coating happens before delivery and cannot be changed on site.
Is powder coating over galvanising worth the extra cost?
For appearance, yes. For protection, the galvanising is doing the work either way — the coating is a finish, not the corrosion barrier, which is why a scratch in the paint does not compromise the post.
How does Lacerta compare with the square models in the range?
Fewer modules and a narrower plot. Where the available ground is a strip rather than a square, Lacerta uses it better; where the ground is square, a nine-mast model gives more routes for a similar area.
Send us your plot dimensions, any colour requirement and your surfacing intentions, and we will return a costed proposal with the siting drawing for Lacerta within 24 business hours.
