Description
The Bodytone Solid Rock SR09E is a plate loaded hack squat rated to 480 kg of training load. It is built for intensive quadriceps, glute and lower body work in gyms, coaching studios, physical preparation centres and premium training spaces.
Unlike a conventional leg press, a hack squat puts the user in a standing position, which produces a more complete and more functional lower body movement. The inclined trajectory loads the quadriceps through their full range with strong muscular recruitment, while the guided path keeps the movement stable and safe at loads that would be difficult to control with a free barbell. In practice the SR09E takes the useful characteristics of both machines: the security of a guided path with the natural amplitude of a squat.
The frame is reinforced for intensive professional use, the guiding system is designed for smooth travel under load, and the ergonomic shoulder and back supports keep the user positioned correctly through the descent. The push platform is non slip. Finish is a high resistance paint developed to automotive industry standards, which is what keeps a plate loaded machine looking presentable after years of discs being slid on and off it.

Hack squat or leg press in a strength zone
Most clubs eventually install both, but the order matters. A leg press is easier to approach and absorbs volume from general fitness members. A hack squat is the machine that keeps serious lifters in the building, because it trains the squat pattern under load without requiring a rack, a spotter and perfect technique. If a strength zone already has a press and members are queueing for the squat rack, the hack squat is the addition that relieves it. Plan clearance behind the machine for entry and exit with plates loaded, plate storage within reach, and a weightlifting grade rubber tile underneath for impact and noise. We supply the implantation drawing with the quotation, issued within 24 working hours.
Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions and machine weight?
Overall dimensions, machine weight and the loading clearances are supplied with the layout study prepared for your room before the order.
Are Olympic discs included?
No. Plates are quoted separately so the load range matches your members, along with plate storage for the zone.
Is it suitable for less experienced users?
Yes. The guided trajectory and the shoulder supports control the movement, so the exercise can be introduced at light load and progressed safely.
