Description
The Biceps Forza Bodytone FB30 is a selectorised preacher curl machine for commercial gyms, built on the same carbon steel platform as the rest of the Forza range. The angled arm pad fixes the elbow position and removes the swing that limits a standing barbell curl, so the elbow flexors work through a full range under constant tension. The station measures 119 x 103 cm with a height of 150 cm and weighs 93 kg before plates.
The stack column is 110 x 50 mm carbon steel tube in 2.5 mm wall thickness and the functional section is 100 x 50 mm in the same gauge, joined by robotised welding without spatter. Plate guide rods are stainless steel with a double hard chrome treatment, the pulleys are V groove nylon with internal bearings, and the traction cables are 5 mm steel under a full PVC sheath rated at a 1,000 kg breaking index. Rubber bumpers on a shock absorbing base keep the stack quiet at the end of each repetition.

Placing the machine on the gym floor
At 119 x 103 cm the FB30 needs a slightly deeper bay than the shoulder machines in the range because the user sits forward of the frame with the chest against the pad. Allow a front access band of around 90 cm and keep the rear of the stack reachable for servicing. Combined mass with plates is close to 183 kg, distributed over a rubber footed base, which is within the capacity of a normal ground floor slab.
In an arms pod the biceps machine is usually installed facing or adjacent to a triceps station so a member can alternate agonist and antagonist sets without crossing the floor. Because the movement is supported and the load selection is instant, it also suits circuit training layouts where members move on a timer, and it is a practical choice for hotel and residential gyms where an unsupervised user needs a safe way to train the arms without a barbell.
Frequently asked questions
How is the seat adjusted?
The Forza range uses red aluminium quick lock levers, so the seat can be raised or lowered without tools to align the elbow with the machine pivot. Correct alignment is what determines whether the resistance curve matches the strength curve of the biceps.
What load does the stack provide?
The plates supplied total 90 kg in 7 kg increments. Bodytone documentation also quotes a 93 kg figure in places, so confirm the stack on the quotation if the exact load is important for your programming.
Is it suitable for a rehabilitation setting?
The supported position and the 7 kg increment make it usable for controlled elbow flexion work, but load prescription remains the responsibility of the supervising practitioner. We can advise on the wider equipment list for a rehabilitation room as part of a project study.
