Description
The Forza FB52 is a selectorised leg extension on a 120 by 105 cm footprint, with a 107 kg stack and a machine weight of 102 kg before the plates. Leg extension is the isolation movement for the quadriceps, and in a professional room it does two jobs: it lets members load the front of the thigh without loading the spine, and it gives coaches a way to progress quadriceps strength independently of squatting technique.
The frame is carbon steel tube throughout, 110 by 50 mm on the weight stack column and 100 by 50 mm on the working section, both 2.5 mm thick and welded by robotic process with no spatter. Plate guide rods are stainless steel with a double hard chrome treatment for a smooth glide over years of use, the pulleys are nylon with a V groove and an internal bearing for quiet running, and the cables are 5 mm steel under a PVC sheath with a 1,000 kg breaking load.
The stack holds 107 kg in 7 kg plates, each fitted with rubber shock absorbing bumpers on anti-shock bases so the stack lands quietly at the end of a set. Ultra quiet ball bearings keep the lever travel smooth, which matters on a machine typically used for high repetition finishing sets.

Placing the leg extension in the thigh group
Install the FB52 next to a leg curl so the quadriceps and hamstrings are trained as a pair, which is the arrangement associated with injury prevention rather than with imbalance. At 120 by 105 cm the machine is compact for its category and fits most existing plans without redrawing the zone. Allow clear space in front of the seat for the lower legs to extend fully, since that is the dimension that determines whether the movement can be completed, and leave access on one side for entry. In clubs with a mixed membership, the leg extension is often the first lower body machine a new member uses, so its position affects how the whole zone is perceived. We will draw the lower body group from your floor plan free of charge before quotation.
Frequently asked questions
How much floor area does it need?
120 by 105 cm for the machine, plus clear space in front of the seat for full leg extension and access on one side. That working area should be planned rather than assumed.
What load does the stack provide?
107 kg in 7 kg increments, which covers a beginner working with the first plates through to a strong member.
How is the machine delivered?
Despatch from stock takes 5 to 10 working days. Delivery covers France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, export is priced per project, and assembly on site is quoted separately.
