Description
The Forza FB56 is the hip abduction machine of the Bodytone Forza range, working the outward movement of the leg on a 95 by 158 cm footprint with a 93 kg stack. Abduction loads the gluteus medius and minimus, the muscles that stabilise the pelvis in single leg stance, which is why the exercise appears in glute programming, in running injury prevention and in hip rehabilitation with equal frequency.
The frame follows the Forza construction used across the range: carbon steel tube of 110 by 50 mm on the weight stack column and 100 by 50 mm on the working section, both 2.5 mm thick, welded robotically with no spatter. Machine weight is 95 kg before the plates. Plate guide rods are stainless steel with a double hard chrome treatment for a consistent glide, the pulleys are nylon with a V groove and an internal bearing, and the cables are 5 mm steel under PVC with a breaking load of around 1,000 kg.
The stack holds 93 kg in 7 kg plates fitted with rubber shock absorbing bumpers on anti-shock bases and PVC pads between them, and is operated by a magnetic selector with colour coded intensity levels and a safety cord. Ultra quiet ball bearings keep the movement smooth, which matters on a machine used for high repetition sets.

Where a hip abduction machine earns its place
Demand for glute focused equipment has grown faster than any other category in mixed and women’s clubs, and abduction is the movement members ask for by name. The machine also has a second, quieter audience: physiotherapists treating hip and knee complaints, where lateral hip weakness is one of the most common findings. Install it next to the adduction machine so the pair sits together and the pad settings are learned once, and allow clear space on both sides of the seat for the legs to open fully, which is the dimension most often clipped in a tight plan. The 95 cm width makes it one of the easier machines in the lower body group to fit into an existing layout. We will draw the zone from your floor plan free of charge before quoting.
Frequently asked questions
Which movement does this model perform?
Hip abduction, opening the legs outwards against the pads. The manufacturer designation for the model combines the inner and abductor labels, so we confirm the exact configuration with you at quotation stage before the order is placed.
Is 93 kg enough load?
For hip abduction, yes. The working loads on this movement are lower than on compound lower body exercises, and the 7 kg increments give useful progression steps.
How is the machine delivered?
Despatch from stock takes 5 to 10 working days. Delivery covers France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, export is priced per project, and assembly on site is quoted separately.
