Description
The Lateral Raise Forza Bodytone FB24 is a selectorised shoulder abduction machine designed for commercial fitness floors. It isolates the deltoids through a fixed arc, with pads that support the outer arms so the load stays on the shoulder rather than on the grip. The station measures 75 cm deep, 120 cm wide and 150 cm high, and weighs 93 kg before plates, which makes it one of the more compact upper body machines in the Forza range.
Construction follows the Forza standard. The stack column is carbon steel tube 110 x 50 mm in 2.5 mm wall thickness, the functional section is 100 x 50 mm in the same gauge, and both are joined by robotised welding without spatter. Plate guide rods are stainless steel with a double hard chrome treatment, the pulleys are V groove nylon on internal bearings, and the cables are 5 mm steel under a full PVC sheath, tested to a breaking index of 1,000 kg. Movement runs on ultra quiet ball bearings.

Gym layout and programming
At 75 x 120 cm the FB24 has a shallow footprint and can be placed in a back to back row of selectorised stations along a wall, since the user enters from the front and the stack sits behind the seat. Allow a clear front access band of at least 90 cm for entry and instructor supervision, and keep a service gap behind the stack for cable inspection. Loaded mass is around 178 kg spread over the base, so no reinforcement is normally required on a ground floor slab; check the build up before installing on an upper level.
Programming wise, the lateral raise is one of the few machines that trains the middle deltoid in an isolated way, which is why it appears in almost every commercial upper body circuit. It pairs naturally with a shoulder press, a rear delt or reverse fly station and a rowing machine to build a complete shoulder pod. Because the movement is short and the loads relatively light, the station turns over quickly at peak hours, so a single unit usually serves a club of moderate size.
Frequently asked questions
Is the seat height adjustable?
The Forza range uses aluminium quick lock levers in red for the adjustable elements, so the seat can be set to align the shoulder joint with the pivot. We can confirm the exact adjustment range for your order when you request a quotation.
What is the total stack weight?
The plates supplied total 85 kg in 7 kg increments. Bodytone product literature also quotes a 93 kg figure for the machine itself, so confirm the stack specification on the quotation before ordering if the exact load matters for your programme.
How long does delivery take?
Shipping is 5 to 10 working days from stock, to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg. Export is costed per project. Warranty is 2 to 5 years depending on the range.
