The surface carries two lanes, so two athletes race the same distance on the same substrate at the same moment. Nothing has to be measured, aligned or taped down before a heat: the lanes are part of the turf and stay exactly where they were the last time you used them.

Reinforced graduation and a marked start zone

The graduation is drawn heavier than on a training lane so that it stays readable from a distance, which is what a judge at the finish and a crowd behind the barrier actually need. The start zone is materialised on the surface, so every heat begins from the same line without a chalk mark or a strip of tape.

Which facilities is it for?

Internal competitions and throwdowns: two athletes, one start line. Head-to-head heats need a fair start and a visible finish. Two permanent lanes and a marked start zone give both, and remove the twenty minutes of setting out that a competition day normally costs.

What to know before ordering

The price is per square metre, not per linear metre. A lane of 15 m by 2 m is 30 m2. A two-lane competition area covers more ground than a single training lane, so work out the real area before comparing quotations.

The marking is manufactured in, not added afterwards. The lanes, the graduation and the start zone are part of the surface: they do not wear off, but they cannot be changed after delivery. The marking plan and the distances have to be confirmed before production starts.

Turf does not take prolonged static loads. The fibres compress under the feet of racks, selectorised machines or any equipment left standing. Keep the competition area free of fixed equipment and plan rubber tiles for machine areas and drop zones.

Fibre composition, backing, weight per m2 and fire classification are not published. Those figures drive delivery logistics and compliance in buildings open to the public, which matters more than usual when you are hosting an audience. Is the track delivered in one piece?

Packaging depends on the dimensions ordered: beyond a certain length the track is supplied in several widths to be joined on site. Send us your dimensions and we will confirm the exact make-up of your configuration.

Can it be rolled up and stored between events?

It is designed as loose lay or perimeter fixed on a hard, flat floor. Talk to us about the length you are planning before you count on handling it as temporary event equipment.

Which width should I choose?

Lanes one metre wide carry a supplement of 14.00 EUR excluding VAT per m2. For a two-lane competition area, a generous total width is what keeps the two athletes clear of each other. State the width you want when you request a quotation.

Can it be laid over existing rubber tiles?

Yes. Installation is on a hard, flat floor: concrete, tiling or rubber tiles. Flatness of the substrate is the critical point, since any irregularity shows through the turf and is felt underfoot when running.

What daily maintenance does it need?

Regular vacuuming to remove dust and debris, periodic brushing to lift the fibres, and washing with water and a neutral detergent. Avoid solvents and pressure washers on the marked areas.
