Description

When the floor is in every photograph, it may as well carry your name. The H2 Competition is the top configuration of the H series: two lanes, reinforced graduation, a start zone and a custom logo built into the turf. This is the track for filmed events and sponsored competitions, where the surface itself becomes a durable brand asset.

A logo produced with the turf, not printed on it

The logo is integrated during manufacture, exactly like the lanes and the graduation. It does not peel, it does not lift at the corners under a sled, and it does not need replacing between two events. In exchange it is final: the artwork, its position and its scale are locked before production starts, and a vectorised logo file is required.

Reinforced graduation and a start zone

Compared with the discreet references in the range, the graduation here is deliberately heavier so that it reads on camera and from the side of the floor. The start zone gives both lanes a common reference point, which is what makes a head-to-head heat legible for spectators as well as for the judge.

Materials and installation

Pro-grade artificial turf with a 16 mm fibre height, for intensive indoor use. Loose laid or fixed around its perimeter on a hard, flat floor: concrete, tiles or existing rubber tiles. Substrate flatness is the critical point, since any irregularity shows through the turf and is felt at running speed. Fibre composition, backing, weight per m2, UV resistance and fire classification are supplied on request – the rest of the series is listed under turf sled tracks.

Which facilities is it for?

Filmed competitions and sponsored events. A branded lane appears in every wide shot, every finish-line photograph and every clip posted afterwards. Unlike a banner or a floor sticker, it is there for the life of the track and it survives the sled passing over it.

Flagship gym and franchise network – a consistent floor identity. The same logo, the same lanes and the same graduation reproduced across sites give a network a recognisable conditioning area without any signage on the walls.

Competition-format training – two lanes and a common start. Two delimited lanes and a shared start zone let two athletes race the same distance under the same conditions, with a graduation heavy enough to be read at speed from the side of the floor.

Strength and conditioning centre – repeatable protocols. Reinforced graduation supports fixed-distance work: repeated sprints, acceleration tests, sled work. The distance no longer depends on where the equipment was placed, so results stay comparable over a season.

What to know before ordering

A vectorised logo file is required. Send the artwork in vector form before production. A clean vector outline reproduces without difficulty; gradients, halftones and very fine typefaces do not translate to this process.

The price is per square metre, not per linear metre. A 15 m by 2 m track is 30 m2. Work out the real surface before comparing quotations: a linear-metre price and a square-metre price are not directly comparable.

The marking is built into the product, not added on top. Lanes, graduation, start zone and logo are part of the surface: they do not wear off, but they cannot be altered after delivery. The marking plan, the distances and the logo placement must be approved before production starts.

Turf does not take prolonged static loads. Fibres compress under rack feet, guided machines or any equipment left standing. Keep the track area clear of fixed equipment and plan rubber tiles for machine zones and drop zones.

Fibre composition, backing, weight per m2 and fire classification are not published. These figures drive delivery logistics and compliance in public-access buildings. Ask us for the full data sheet before committing to a project subject to a safety inspection.

Frequently asked questions

Can the logo be changed later?

No. It is produced with the turf, so a new sponsor or a rebrand means new track sections. If your sponsor changes every season, keep the branding on removable supports and order the track without a logo.

What artwork do you need?

A vectorised logo file, plus the position and the scale you want on the track. Send it to us and we will tell you how it will reproduce before anything is manufactured.

What width should I choose?

This reference is a two-lane track and is not offered in the 1 m width. A 2 m width takes two athletes side by side or a wide sled. State the width you want with your quotation request.

Does the logo wear where the sled passes?

The marking is part of the surface and wears at the same rate as the turf around it. There is no printed layer to lift under a sled runner.

Is turf suitable for sled push and sled pull?

That is its main indoor use. Sled runners glide in a controlled, repeatable way on the fibres, where a rubber tile generates higher resistance that varies more from one pass to the next.
