Three reading levels stacked on the same lane, so the distance is visible whatever the athlete is doing. The S-004 is the most densely graduated track in the series: a high, a central and a low graduation line, with repeated numbering. Where a single line can be hidden by a sled, a partner or a piece of equipment, three superimposed levels keep at least one reading visible at all times. The numbering is repeated on each level, so an athlete lying down, kneeling or running upright reads the same distance without hunting for the mark.

Which facilities is it for?

Performance testing: a protocol that survives staff changes. Three graduation levels and repeated numbering mean two coaches read the same distance the same way. Sprint repeats, acceleration tests and speed endurance work stay comparable across a season because the measurement is in the floor, not in somebody memory.

Rehabilitation and return to running: fine control of distance. A dense graduation lets a physiotherapist increase a run by a few metres at a time, which is exactly the resolution that a cone-based set-up cannot give.

CrossFit boxes and HYROX gyms: a conditioning lane that never needs setting up. Sled pushes, sled pulls, bear crawls and farmer walks run to a called distance that everyone can read from any position on the lane.

Gyms with a functional area: a lane that reads as equipment. A densely marked track defines the conditioning zone without a partition, discourages equipment being parked on it, and signals a performance-oriented facility to every visitor.

What to know before ordering

The price is per square metre, not per linear metre. A lane of 15 m by 2 m is 30 m2. Work out the real area before comparing quotations: a price per linear metre and a price per square metre are not the same thing.

The marking is manufactured in, not added afterwards. The numbering and the graduation lines are part of the surface: they do not wear off, but they cannot be changed after delivery. On a triple graduation this matters more than on a simple lane, because the three levels have to be positioned against your actual distances. Confirm the marking plan before production starts.

Turf does not take prolonged static loads. The fibres compress under the feet of racks, selectorised machines or any equipment left standing. Keep the lane free of fixed equipment and plan rubber tiles for machine areas and drop zones.

Is the track delivered in one piece?

Packaging depends on the dimensions ordered: beyond a certain length the track is supplied in several widths to be joined on site. Send us your dimensions and we will confirm the exact make-up of your configuration.

Can it be laid over existing rubber tiles?

Yes. Installation is on a hard, flat floor: concrete, tiling or rubber tiles. Flatness of the substrate is the critical point, since any irregularity shows through the turf and is felt underfoot when running.

Which width should I choose?

The 1 m width option is not available on this reference. Length and width are made to measure: a width of 2 m allows two athletes side by side or the passage of a wide sled. State the width you need when you request a quotation.

Because a single line disappears the moment a sled, a partner or a piece of equipment covers it. With three superimposed readings, the distance stays legible from any position on the lane.

What daily maintenance does it need?

Regular vacuuming to remove dust and debris, periodic brushing to lift the fibres, and washing with water and a neutral detergent. Avoid solvents and pressure washers on the marked areas.
