H4 Turf Track 16 mm - Four Sprint Lanes

Four parallel lanes on one 16 mm turf surface: four athletes start together, on separate trajectories, without drifting into each other.

The H4 splits the track into four lanes marked out by longitudinal lines. It is built for group work, and it is the standard configuration for collective conditioning classes, supervised warm-ups and relays. Where a single-lane track serves one athlete at a time, the H4 turns the same floor area into four simultaneous work stations. Four lanes, one class

Lane lines do the job a coach otherwise does by shouting. Each athlete keeps a trajectory, nobody cuts across a neighbour mid-effort, and a group of four moves down the track as a wave rather than a scrum. For relays and partner WODs, the lanes also make the handover point obvious without any extra marking on the floor.

Note that the H4 is a lane-marked track, not a graduated one: it carries the four longitudinal lane lines, and no metre-by-metre numbering. Where it earns its place

Group conditioning classes. Four lanes match the usual class split into small groups. The coach runs one wave after another on a fixed circuit instead of managing four improvised trajectories.

Supervised warm-ups. Shuttle runs, skipping, carioca and mobility drills stay in their lane, which keeps a busy room readable when twenty people warm up together.

Weight rooms with a functional zone. A marked lane defines the conditioning area without a partition and discourages people from stacking gear on it. It is also a signal to anyone walking in that the room is built around performance.

Clubs and team sports. Relays, sled races between lanes and paired accelerations give the group a competitive format that needs no extra equipment.

Materials, installation and upkeep

The lane markings are built into the surface during manufacturing, not applied on top of the turf. They do not wear off, but they cannot be changed after delivery: the marking plan, the number of lanes and their width must be signed off before production starts.

Installation is loose lay or perimeter fixing on a hard, flat floor: concrete, tiling or existing rubber tiles. Flatness of the substrate is the critical point, because any irregularity comes through the turf and is felt underfoot when running.

Upkeep is vacuuming, periodic brushing to lift the fibres, and water with a neutral detergent. Avoid solvents and pressure washers on the marked areas. Turf does not tolerate prolonged static loads: keep the lanes clear of racks and machines, and plan rubber gym flooring tiles for machine and drop zones. How wide does the track need to be for four lanes?

Total width is made to measure, and the lane width follows from it. Tell us how many athletes you want side by side and the space you have, and we will propose a width. One-metre-wide tracks carry a supplement of 14.00 EUR excluding VAT per m2.

How is the price calculated?

Per square metre, not per linear metre. A 15 m by 2 m track is 30 m2. Work out the real surface area before comparing offers.

Is the track delivered in one piece?

Packing depends on the dimensions ordered: beyond a certain length it arrives in several widths to be joined on site. Send us your dimensions for the exact packing of your configuration.

Can the number of lanes be changed later?

No. The marking is integrated during manufacturing, so the lane layout is fixed once the track is produced. Validate the configuration before launching production.

Is the turf suitable for sled push and sled pull?

That is its main indoor use. Sled runners glide in a controlled and repeatable way on the fibres, whereas a rubber tile gives higher and less consistent resistance from one pass to the next.

What is not published on this page?
