Description

One central line, two clear lanes, nothing else: the sober configuration for a track that has to do more than sprint work.

Minimal marking, maximum versatility

The H2 Basic splits the track in two with a single centre line and no side framing. The marking is reduced to what is strictly needed – keeping two distinct lanes – and that restraint is an advantage when the same strip of turf also has to serve mobility work, warm-ups, stretching or circuit stations. No surplus lines get in the way of reading the space.

Where the H2 Basic earns its place

CrossFit boxes and HYROX gyms – a permanent conditioning strip. Two fixed lanes mean sled push, sled pull, bear crawls and farmer walks can run side by side without cones and without athletes drifting into each other.

Multi-purpose functional areas. Because the surface carries no numbering, the same lane hosts sprint work in one class and floor-based conditioning in the next, without a marking scheme that only makes sense for running.

Weight rooms with a functional zone – a legible floor plan. The marked strip defines the conditioning area without a partition and discourages equipment from being left on it.

Clubs and rehabilitation settings – controlled lanes. Two separated trajectories keep two athletes working in parallel under one coach, which is exactly what group return-to-running sessions need.

Materials and installation

Pro quality synthetic turf, 16 mm fibre height, specified for intensive indoor use – the same surface as the rest of the range, with a lighter marking scheme. The centre line is integrated during manufacture, not applied afterwards: it will not wear off, and it cannot be changed once delivered. Installation is loose laid or fixed around the perimeter on a hard, flat floor such as concrete, tiles or existing rubber flooring, and the flatness of that substrate is what determines how the lane feels at speed.

Day-to-day care is vacuuming, periodic brushing of the fibres and washing with water and a neutral detergent, keeping solvents and pressure washers away from the marked area.

What to know before ordering

The price is per square metre, not per linear metre. A 15 m by 2 m lane is 30 m2, so calculate the real surface before comparing quotations.

The 1 m width carries a supplement. On this reference, a 1 m wide track is charged at 14.00 EUR excluding VAT per square metre on top of the base price.

Turf does not take prolonged static loads. Fibres compress under rack feet or machines left in place, so keep the lane clear and plan weightlifting rubber tiles for drop and machine zones.

Fibre composition, backing, weight per square metre and fire classification are supplied on request. Ask for the full technical data sheet before validating a project in a public-access building.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference with the Superior version?

The marking. The H2 Basic has a single centre line and no numbering, while the Superior track adds lanes graduated 1 to 9 with Start and Finish. The turf itself is the same 16 mm Pro quality.

Can distances still be measured on it?

Not off the surface: this configuration carries no metre graduation. If your protocols depend on reading distance from the floor, choose the numbered version.

Is the track delivered in one piece?

It depends on the dimensions ordered; beyond a certain length it ships as several widths to be joined on site. Send us your dimensions for the exact packing of your configuration.

Can it be laid over existing rubber tiles?

Yes, on any hard and flat floor. Check the flatness of the substrate first, because irregularities transfer straight through to the turf.

Is it suitable for sled work?

Yes – that is the main indoor use of this surface. Sled runners glide predictably over the fibres, which keeps resistance consistent from one pass to the next.
