Description
This CrossFit synthetic turf strip measures 10 x 1 m in green Curled short-pile fibre, 13 mm thick with a density of 63,000 stitches per m2. It gives functional training zones a firm, durable, shock-tolerant surface for sled pushes, lunges and explosive movement, indoors or outdoors.
A training surface built for abuse
Functional training punishes flooring: sled runners, repeated footstrikes, dropped handles and dragged loads. The Curled short-pile construction is compact and resilient, so the surface stays comfortable underfoot while resisting the constant wear of daily classes and competition formats. Unlike natural grass, it never needs watering, mowing or feeding, and it cleans easily, keeping the training zone hygienic year-round.
Indoor and outdoor use
The fibres are highly UV-resistant, so the same turf can run through a gym, into a garage gym or across an outdoor training yard without fading. A 10 x 1 m strip is the classic format for a sled lane or a walking-lunge corridor alongside a free-weights area.

Choosing the right format and colour
The 10 x 1 m strip is the entry format; the same Curled construction also comes in 2 m widths and 15 or 20 m lengths for double lanes and full turf zones. Colour is worth planning as zoning: many facilities run a green or anthracite main lane and use blue or brick red to mark stations, start lines or stretching areas, turning the floor itself into circulation signage. For branded installations, custom tracks with logos and bespoke designs are produced on quotation with a 90 to 120 day lead time, so branding decisions belong at project start, not fit-out week.
Frequently asked questions
Is a 1 m width enough for a sled lane?
A 10 x 1 m strip suits single-lane sled work and lunge corridors. For side-by-side lanes or turf zones used by groups, wider 2 m formats and longer 15 m or 20 m tracks are available in the same Curled construction.
Can the track carry lane markings or a logo?
Yes. Tracks can be fully customised with your logo, colours and design. Custom production is quoted individually and takes 90 to 120 days from order confirmation.
How is the turf maintained?
Brush it periodically to keep the pile upright and clean spills with water or a mild detergent. There is no watering, mowing or infill maintenance, which keeps operating costs close to zero compared with natural surfaces.
