Description
Two parallel lanes marked out on 16 mm turf, so that two athletes work side by side without drifting into each other. The H2 is the entry configuration of the H series: longitudinal lines only, no metre graduation, and the lowest price of the multi-lane range.
What the two lanes change
Lane lines separate trajectories physically. Head-to-head sprints, crossed shuttles and relays stop being a matter of trust and become a repeatable format: each athlete has a corridor, the sled stays in its lane, and a coach can supervise two work streams at once. There is no numbering on this configuration – if you need distance read off the floor, look at the graduated versions of the range instead.
Where it is used
CrossFit boxes and HYROX facilities – paired work. Two lanes let a class run in pairs on a single track: one athlete works, the other recovers or pushes on the parallel lane. Sled push, sled pull, bear crawls and farmer’s walks stay within their corridor, which keeps the flow safe when the room is full.
Team sport clubs – relays and shuttle formats. The two-lane layout suits shuttle and relay work where two groups alternate. Because the lanes are permanent, the format is set up in seconds without cones or tape.
Weight rooms with a functional zone – a defined corridor. The marked lane defines the conditioning area without a partition, discourages equipment from being parked on it, and signals a performance-oriented facility at a glance.
Facilities on a budget – entry into the H series. When two lanes are the requirement and distance is measured by a coach rather than read off the floor, the H2 delivers the layout without paying for graduation.
Installation and upkeep
The track is laid loose or fixed around its perimeter on a hard, flat floor: concrete, tiling or existing rubber tiles. Flatness of the substrate is the critical point, because any irregularity comes through the turf and is felt underfoot at running speed. Day to day, vacuum to remove dust and debris, brush the fibres periodically to lift them, and wash with water and a neutral detergent. Avoid solvents and pressure washers on the marked areas.

Before you order
The price is per square metre, not per linear metre. A track 15 m long by 2 m wide is 30 m2. Work out the real surface before comparing offers: a price per linear metre and a price per square metre are not directly comparable.
The marking is made with the surface. The lane lines are part of the turf, not applied afterwards: they will not wear off, and they cannot be moved after delivery. Approve the lane widths and the overall layout before production starts.
Turf does not take prolonged static loads. Fibres compress under rack feet, selectorised machines and anything left standing. The track area has to stay clear of fixed equipment; use rubber flooring tiles for machine zones and drop zones.
Fibre composition, backing, weight per m2 and fire classification are not published. These figures drive delivery logistics and compliance in premises open to the public. Ask us for the complete technical sheet before signing off a project that has to pass a safety commission.
Frequently asked questions
How wide is each lane?
Lane width follows the overall width you order, since the track is made to measure. Tell us the total width you plan and how it should be split, and we will confirm the layout on the marking plan before production.
Can graduation be added later?
No. The marking is integrated during manufacture and cannot be modified after delivery. If distances need to be read off the floor, choose a graduated configuration from the start.
Is the track delivered in one piece?
Packing depends on the dimensions ordered: beyond a certain length the track ships in several widths to be joined on site. Send us your dimensions for the exact packing of your configuration.
Can it be laid over existing rubber tiles?
Yes, on a hard and flat substrate: concrete, tiling or rubber tiles. Substrate flatness is what determines the running feel of the finished lane.
Is turf suitable for sled push and sled pull?
That is its main indoor purpose. Sled runners glide in a controlled, repeatable way over the fibres, whereas a rubber tile creates higher resistance that varies more from one pass to the next.
